Yoann Barelli signs to Dakine Bike Team

Dakine has announced that the team has signed Yoann Barelli.

Barelli will utilise Dakine apparel, gloves, backpacks and protection pads in all 2017 activities.

The French-born rider has a significant history in downhill riding, having won the French championship in 2004. He has now taken on top Enduro athletes to rank amongst the top ten riders in the world.

“Dakine has always been the ‘freeride brand’ for me – the brand that all the real badass riders ride for. When I hear the word Dakine I picture Aggy doing a backflip down a 10 meter high cliff,” commented Barelli.

“To join this brand is for me a real achievement in my professional athlete career, I feel very special. I’ve been riding Dakine products for more than a month now and the quality of everything they make is pretty amazing, every detail counts for them, it feels great to put something on and realize that everything is just right. I’m very much looking forward to train, adventure, travel and race with my new Dakine kit.”

Dakine European sports marketing and communications manager, PJ Rueda, added: “We are happy and proud to see Yoann joining the Dakine family. He actually represents everything Dakine is about; crazy skills on a bike combined with a fun and humble attitude. Welcome to the team! “
