Pinkbike’s online marketplace has shifted over $50 million worth of cycling goods in just six months, according to the publisher.
Paul Haysom of Pinkbike’s marketing team told BikeBiz: "The first half of 2015 showed Buy/Sell having over 100,000 new ads posted with a combined total of about $80 million. From the ads that have been posted, $53 million have sold on Pinkbike. We continue to strive to make the Buy/Sell section of our website as manageable as possible, and our current numbers are showing that a combined effort of these improvements and connectivity of our users have made for a successful marketplace."
At the start of 2015 the marketplace section of the site saw an upgrade that allows users to search by radial distance, add more filters to find a product and save searched items for a later date.
