High-end Austrian hand built wheels on the way to UK

Posh Bikes adds Xentis wheels label

Posh Bikes, the distributors for Scapin and Olympia, has added the Xentis wheel label to its portfolio.

Manufactured and hand built in Austria, Xentis is owned by automotive company Remus, itself a high-end manfacturer with many years of experience in carbon fibre, among other things.

Already well known in the triathlon world, the product itself differentiates itself from the crowd with tech such as its XBP brake track. The firm machines the surface of the rim, removing up to 80 per cent of the resin content, which has a knock on effect on reducing heat build up under intense braking. Standard brake blocks can be used with the rims.

Posh Bikes will carry a wide range, with prices starting at £1,524 for a full carbon clincher weighing in at around 1,430 grams.
