Procycling begins 2016 racing season with new design

Procycling has taken on a new look for the start of the 2016 Classics season.

With a content and design refresh, Procycling features more in-depth interviews, cycling photography, a new clean, modern design which will appeal to both existing and new readers, and a new column by one of the sport’s most popular and articulate figures, Jens Voigt.

The key changes include an increased focus on the biggest stars in cycling, including bespoke portrait photography and in-depth writing by interviewers, more in-depth coverage of women’s cycling, reflecting and leading the growth in popularity of this side of the sport and more race analysis, using the latest trends in data journalism.

Procycling’s editor Edward Pickering said: “Cycling is now one of the most popular sports in the English-speaking world. Procycling plays a big part in bringing the biggest stories to the sport’s fast-growing audience, celebrating the achievements of the winners, demystifying the tactics and giving readers access to the stars of the sport and its best events."

"Procycling covers the sport from the inside: we are at the races, on the ground. We use the very best cycling writers and the very best cycling photographers, and with our fantastic brand-new look, we can bring the sport alive in a way that nobody else can.”
