Recall affects one product line

ByoCycles adjustable stem recall

ByoCycles is looking for all customers who own a 2013 Chameleon 24 to contact the ByoCycles distributor they purchased their bike from.

ByoCycles is issuing a free upgraded ‘Truvativ’ adjustable stem to all its customers who have purchased this product.

The company said: "The change is being made after extensive testing has been carried out on the product to improve the longevity and reliability of the product, with this in mind ByoCycles feel their bicycle can be improved by this upgrade.

"We at ByoCycles feel all customers who have purchased our products are deserving of the highest possible standards of customer service, and we wish to preserve the happy experience of riding our bikes."

The 2012 model Chameleon 24 with the non-adjustable stem fitted is not affected by the recall.

"Please contact your ByoCycle retailer to find out if you qualify for this upgrade. All models can continue to be ridden without fear of any safety related fault."
