High definition camera can record underwater for up to 30 minutes

Contour Roam adds underwater filming capabilities

Contour’s latest Roam camera has added underwater filming capabilities, all in crisp 1080p HD.

Capable of withstanding up to half an hour’s worth of underwater filming at a depth of up to one meter, the Roam for the first time features an instant ‘On-Record’ power switch that lets people know when the camera is filming,

The camera also snaps five megapixel still photos and features a 170-degree wide angle lens to capture close up and distant surroundings in detail. What’s more, the lens rotates up to 270 degrees and can project a horizontal laser line to ensure the shot is level, even when the camera is mounted on its side or upside down.

“Contour Roam is so lightweight and compact you don’t even notice it’s there. It goes wherever the action is, from action sports to team sports to weekend adventures. Just slide the record switch forward and go big,” said Marc Barros, CEO of Contour.

Ultra Sport Europe carries the camera brand in the UK.
