Fat Lad At The Back - the Yorkshire brand offering mens and womens cycle apparel in sizes 36” to 58” chest and 34” to 50” bust - has unveiled a discreetly styled Stealth range.

For the first time the FLAB wording has been dropped in favour of a cog logo subtly located on the plain black jersey and shorts, which both feature colourful reflective block stripes in red, blue, white and aqua.

Expected to appeal to existing FLAB fans as well as cyclists who may prefer a low key look, the range has been described as Fat Lad at the Back's “most elegant collection ever” by creative director Lynn Bye.

The range has been spec’d to the same standard as the Italian pro team kit, which the FLAB factory manufactures, but it is in the unique FLAB garment templates ensuring a superb fit. It is made from a premium, Italian fabric with a light, super soft feel which has exceptional breathing and wicking capabilities. The addition of patented Pixel 300 ensures outstanding visibility and reflectivity.

Fat Lad In Charge Richard Bye said: “The name is inspired by the 1980’s Stealth Bomber which at the time was an exceptionally advanced aircraft and I love the idea that the Stealth wearer is an undetected Fat Lad or Lass.

"We’re really excited about the launch of Stealth. It’s not like anything we’ve ever done before and represents a significant development for the brand.

“The new design follows feedback from experienced cyclists and members of the FLAB community who have been impressed by our cut and quality, but don’t want the Fat Lad/Fat Lass At The Back wording. We’ve always been a brand for the people and we feel Stealth allows anyone and everyone to embrace our ethos and enjoy the comfort our fit brings to our riders. This range competes with the very best Italian cycle-wear available on the market, but has the added advantage of being in sizes to fit everyone."
