Organisation to promote electric industry to cycle dealers

LEVA partners with DealerCamp trade show

The Light Electric Vehicle Association will appear at the Utah DealerCamp for the first time, charged with promoting the electric bike market to dealers.

Held from July 25th to 27th, the LifeBoat Events show draws retailers from far and wide to three days of product demonstrations and tests.

“The key to educating the public and the industry about electric bikes is to introduce them to the concept of an e-bike and how it can enhance their life. And then send them on a test ride so they can experience these vehicles
firsthand in a real-life environment,” says Sid Kuropchak, the managing director of LEVA.

Park City’s scenis Deer Valley Resort is only 40 minutes from Salt Lake City airport for any dealers wanting to attend from overseas.

Described as a long-term partnership, DealerCamp is now offering a special discount on entry to LEVA members who sign up before April 15, 2013.

"We couldn’t be more pleased to have LEVA and its members joining us at DealerCamp 2013,” says Lance Camisasca, president of Lifeboat Events. “The Expo’s setting at Deer Valley Resort will offer buyers an exceptional riding experience on every type of conceivable road, path or trail. This is unparalleled from any other trade event. We are confident that after this experience our attending dealers will be knocked out by what today’s e-bikes have to offer."

Consumers will for the first time be allowed to attend the exhibition on the final day of show, July 27th.
