16 LED array has seven different light patterns

Lightrider’s Phase rear light knows when to turn on

Lightrider was one of the first (and may still be the only) bike light to illuminate the rider as well as the way ahead, boosting cyclist visibility on the roads. Now the firm has released a rear light which also looks significantly different from the competition.

The Phase rear light is USB rechargeable and can produce seven different light patterns from a 16 LED array – there’s a video below that takes you through the different phases. The light has an optional on/off feature triggered by a motion detector, as well as a low battery indicator.

Charge time is five hours and that gives riders up to 36 hours. Phase is available in four colours and RRP is £19.99.
