E-bike firm Powabyke has created an promotional deal with Evans Cycles for Saga online’s 70,000 registered users and 40,000 newsletter readers.
A voucher has been designed for Saga readers to download and present at Evans on the purchase of a Powabyke e-bike, entitling them to choose £50 worth of cycling accessories from the shop floor free before they leave.
The offer will be valid until November 1st 2011 and is limited to the first 200 bikes purchased with the promo voucher.
Powabyke MD Nick Child explained: “Saga is a leading brand in its market and Evans Cycles has a network of shops that stock our range of electric bikes – so this promotion for fifty pounds worth of free bike accessories on the purchase of one of our bikes was making the most of a set of good working relationships in order to give our new customers something extra with real value.”
Saga magazine, September, features the Powatryke Cruser electic tricycle that comes with a shopping basket. Like the X-6 (six gear), X-24 (24 gear) and XLS (low step through frame), the tricycle can acheive speeds of 15mph, with detachable batteries that can be recharged at the mains socket in the house.
