Powabyke reveals 2011 training days

To coincide with the launch of its Mk 2 X-Bykes, Powabyke is launching exclusive training days for its dealers in 2011.

The sessions will be initially run over three days in Bristol (April 20th), Birmingham (May 18th) and London (in June, day to be confirmed). Designed to enable IBDs to provide quality customer service the days also provide the dealer with insight into fault anaylsis and speedy repairs.

The free of charge training is limited to two people per company, with participants receiving a ‘Powabyke Technician’ certificate on completion of the course.

Powabyke MD Nick Child said: "The training days used to literally take up a whole day, but due to the improved bike design the training can now be completed in a single afternoon. Our aim is to continue to build a network of support that will reflect well on our brand and the dealers that we suooly. The ‘long and short’ of it is that it’s so mcuh easier with today’s bikes to service them, however this will be an invaluable guide for reatilers who want to really understand the products and ultimately save workshop costs.

"We also made sure that the Mk 2 bikes use common parts across the range, therby making it easier for ourselves and the dealer to hold stock of spare parts."
