Proviz introduces new addition to REFLECT360 product line

Specialists in light-emitting and reflective cycling gear Proviz today announced the launch of an addition to their REFLECT360 range with the REFLECT360 Helmet.

The German-made helmet uses the KSTAR reflective system, which, during manufacturing, embeds reflective particles into a microshell that is protected by a clear outer casing to minimise scratching and degradation from regular use. These particles give the helmet a pearl grey colour during daylight conditions, but turn a brilliant white when exposed to direct light. The product will retail in the UK at £79.99.

“We have wanted to introduce a REFLECT360 helmet since we launched the range almost three years ago but it has been a challenging process," said Rupert Langly-Smith, co-founder of Proviz. “We are now extremely happy with the helmet, and how effective it is at night or during hours of low light. It is a natural expansion of our best-selling range. This is a product that I think all cyclists who wear a helmet will have an interest in.”

The helmet is also equipped with the Quicksafe headring with LED lights. The system features a 360-degree head ring, which allows the height and circumference to be pre-set, meaning that it can be quickly and easily adjusted to allow for the perfect fit and maximum comfort. The headring’s two independent LED flashing lights give other road users advanced warning of the cyclist’s position.

The REFLECT360 Helmet is certified to European CE EN 1078 standards; it is in stock for retailers to purchase through Proviz’s distribution partner Moore Large.
