Outland is a Derby brand, as is Raleigh so Raleigh P&A will be the UK’s distributor of the new American component brand which will be launched worldwide in September.
Teaser ads have already started to appear in British enthusiast mags (the shot above is from this months Dirt magazine and is the first ad to break). Outland is a wide range of components from pedals to saddles to handlebars that will come with a whole host of POS, including brochures, mugs, pens and slatwall branding.
Outland is an international brand being marketed by Derby Group members worldwide: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Sweden, Germany and Holland.
The range consists of mid to high end cross country, downhill and free
ride components developed, says Derby, for the brand or trend aware enthusiast.
Outland product offers the consumer something more – each item has been specially selected from the finest suppliers and has been rigorously tested by…enthusiasts..to ensure it stands up to the stress and
strain endured from continuous riding conditions.
Not only does the consumer get the maximum spec for the price point but also hidden extras – for instance all handlebars are supplied with free alloy end caps and with the handlebar stems you don’t just get one front you get four different colours, all for the price of one, so you can change the look or colour co ordination of you bike as many times as you wish.
Outland is being advertised with DPS teaser ads in Dirt, MBUK and MBI with full page product ads to follow.

Rond-MAGURA
Rond-MAGURAs new range of suspension forks will be launched at the Eurobike Show in Friedrichshafen on 31 August and will be available through Raleigh P&A from the end of September.
The new range includes the new highly rated 2 Stroke Rond fork the same quality as a top end fork now affordable enough to be accessible to the weekend rider.
The Firmtech is another one to look out for constructed as a fork with a built-in hydraulic brake, it provides a lighter and stronger set-up than suspension forks and standard V-Brakes.
Based and manufactured in Holland, Gerard Rond, the ex motorcross rider has been able to utilise his motorcross and cycling expertise in a hands on approach to produce top quality forks, capable of competing with the big brands such as Rock Shox.
