Raleigh UK expands wheel production

Raleigh UK has announced the launch of its new premium wheels, assembled with WTB rims and Industry Nine hubs.

The full range will be available starting early November and will focus on mountain bike, gravel and road disc-specific wheels. Mountain bike options include 27.5in and 29in and gravel and road comprise of 650b and 700c.

Industry Nine hubs are manufactured and hand-built in Asheville, North Carolina, USA. Hub models include the new to market Hydra MTB, new 101 MTB and Torch road disc hubs.

Raleigh UK said it will hold stock of the full range of bearings, o-rings, freehub bodies, service kits and specific service tools so the IBD can “buy with the confidence that back up and support is in place”.

Rim options include the brand new WTB KOM Tough and Light rims in 21, 25, 29 and 35mm widths which finish off the package with “unparalleled strength to weight ratios”.

Parts and accessories business manager Lee Kidger said: “All our wheels are assembled right here in Nottingham by our team of expert wheel builders, the wheel building facility here at Raleigh is something we are immensely proud of and will continue to grow.

“The new range of premium wheels is further to our promise of becoming a one-stop shop for all parts and accessories with the best brands, availability and delivery service in the industry.”

Raleigh UK’s delivery service includes free delivery on Thursdays, 9pm cut off for next day delivery Monday to Thursday and 6pm on Fridays with a Saturday delivery option.
