Bike industry marketing and PR firm Red Cloud MC is to offer its services as a ‘marketing mentor’, to be hired for use in-house by businesses in the trade.
Keen to stress that "it’s not a training cOurse", Almond told BikeBiz: "This mentoring offer is designed to provide individuals and businesses new to marketing in the bike industry, or in general, a way of tapping into a wealth of experience, contacts and know how that we’ve gained in the marketing field over 20 years.
“We will be your brain storming partner, your advice giver, your networking aid, your devils advocate to all your ideas and your guide to all the advice you need to be successful in marketing, whether it’s your first marketing job, a new business venture, or indeed if you’re just wanting to grow an existing business or increase sales.
“Sometimes all you need is a little hand holding and an assurance that your preferred plan of action is a good one from someone who has seen what works and what doesn’t over the years, that’s where we come in.”
Red Cloud will also provide any additional marketing services that the individual or brand is uncomfortable at performing for themselves at a discounted rate for mentor clients. However, Almond assures that the purpose of these services is to empower and help clients do all they need to do themselves to be successful in their marketing communications activity.
There are a number of mentor services to choose from starting from £295 + VAT per annum for employed or potentially employed individuals and £495 + VAT for brands, businesses and companies.
These base packages include two 1-2-1 meetings per year, unlimited email correspondence and mentor phone availability between 9-midday Monday-Friday throughout the year’s subscription. There are also additional options providing a higher number of 1-2-1 sessions, additional modules such as social media specific mentoring, networking opportunities and additional ‘Director Days’ when Mark Almond will join brands in their offices to help push through projects, help plan marketing strategy, brainstorm and much more.
Red Cloud has also announced that along with the mentoring package, it is now offering full design consultancy, including logo design via a well respected, bike industry graphic design partner company, as well as proof reading and additional copy writing services.
