Bottecchia, best known for its road bike range, is now being distributed to UK by Reece Cycles.
2012 was Reece’s first full season with the bikes and the distributor told BikeBiz that is has built up a small but solid network of dealers, which it is now looking to expand.
Reece Cycles’ Steve Homewood said: "It’s not difficult to find dealers happy to give it a go but I’m really looking for the right shops to work with and would be pleased to talk to dealers who are interested."
The brand, which also has a long relationship with East Anglia-based IBD Fatbirds, has a road bike range that starts at £700 and continues to up over £10,000.
Homewood added: "For 2013 we are bringing in the MTB range and there has been lots of interest in the new 650B models which arrive at the end of the month. All of the bikes will be on display at our in-house show March 3rd to 5th in Birmingham."
