Restrap has signed a manufacturing and distribution agreement with Wald Sports to produce a collection of basket bags.
Wald, one of the largest manufacturer of bicycle baskets in the world, will work with manufacturer Restrap, benefitting from its in-house fabric CNC cutting.
The collaboration sprung from Eurobike 2017, where the two companies met and decided to join forces in a mutually beneficial collaboration. The basket bags will be manufactured with one-off RestrapXWald branding, exclusive to this product line.
“We have designed and made prototypes using the same techniques and quality as all the other innovative Restrap products,” said Edward Kingston, international sales director, Restrap.
"It’s a natural progression for the Restrap brand as we continue to design and produce a new generation of bags."
The collection will feature three different sizes and should be available from the end of March. It will be launched at the Berlin Bike Show alongside Restrap’s other new bags.
