2,500 sq ft shop to target commuters and local families as well as road and MTB enthusiasts

27th Cycle Surgery store to open in Wandsworth

We may be only one month into 2012, but Cycle Surgery has just announced its third store opening this year.

Cycle Surgery Wandsworth, in South West London, will open in the middle of March. It follows the announcement of shops on Upper Thames Street and Fulham Road.

The location for the 2,500 sq ft store was chosen to be convenient for the local residents – from commuters and local families to the growing number of road riders and mountain bikers who leave London every weekend to ride in the Surrey hills or further afield, the retailer said.

It added: "With the growing number of cyclists in London we are excited to be able to support local commuters making use of Cycle Superhighway Number 8 which starts close to the new store and finishes in Westminster. We also hope to be in sync with those local residents who use the many parks and green spaces locally to enjoy cycling. This area is rich with open spaces such as Richmond Park, and Wandsworth, Clapham and Wimbledon Commons as well as the Thames Cycle path."

Open seven days a week and housing specialist running store Runners Need, brands included are Trek, Giant, Brompton, Ridgeback, Endura, Giro, Mavic and many others. The shop will have a full workshop with Cytech qualified mechanics.

Store Address: Cycle Surgery Wandsworth, 63 – 65 Garratt Lane, London, SW18 4AA

NOTE: This article previously ran with the headline "26th Cycle Surgery store…" This has now been corrected – the Wandsworth store is actually the retailer’s 27th.
