Exhibitor stung by dodgy test rider

£6800 Orbea stolen from TCR show

Orbea UK has told BikeBiz of a theft of one of the few Ordu TRI1 models in the country at the weekend’s TCR show.

The theft of the £6800 model came during a test ride on Saturday.

Renny Stirling, general manager at Orbea said: "There are only a few of these bikes in the country, although there are a number of frames, so if anybody gets offered an Orbea Ordu 51cm frame, or a set of Zipp Vuka handlebars or 808 wheels, please call us on 01449 711632.

The bike is identical to the pictured model, except it is fitted with a Zeus carbon chainset.
