American inventor, Bud Nilsson has developed an anti-lock braking system for bikes, which he calls the BudBrake.

Seen here, the system, designed for cable-operated brakes only, is said to have a number of advantages including:

Improved tyre traction while braking, which results in less tyre wear
Cooler rims/discs
Automatically feathered and progressive braking
Prevents wheel lock up
Automatically engages the rear brake before the front

Nilsson is seeking wholesale partners to take his product foward and anyone interested should make contact via bud@budbrake.com
