Matt Pacocha joins team as Future's cycling portfolio unique visitor figures top 3.12 million

BikeRadar appoints new US editor

Future Publishing has appointed Matt Pacocha to the role of US online editor for BikeRadar.com.

Pacocha replaces previous US Editor Gary Boulanger and will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing content originating from America. Previously employed by Velonews, Matt will work with US-based technical editor James Huang on tech news and reviews, as well as with the UK team headed by BikeRadar’s editor Jeff Jones.

Pacocha said of his appointment: "I’m excited to have joined Future and I’m especially looking forward to collaborating with James Huang, our Technical Editor, since we both live in Boulder, Colorado. Our partnership gives Future a formidable US based technical team, which serves to complement the well established UK-based staff.

"Filling the position of BikeRadar’s US Editor will be a new challenge for me, but feel I’m ready to take it on and I look forward to continuing my career with a company that is as vested and deeply rooted in the global cycling community as Future."

Pete Stothard, publishing director for Future’s sports portfolio added: "Matt is a great addition to the team and has a wealth of experience. His appointment to BikeRadar is indicative of our continuing commitment to both the cycling sector and the quality of our testing."

The BikeRadar Network (including www.cyclingnews.com) reaches 3.12million unique users a month (July ’09) with 63.9 million page views.
