Dahon among brands bringing bicycles to world-renowned consumer electronic show

Bikes gatecrash Las Vegas electronics show

Bikes and accessories have made a beeline for this year’s Las Vegas-set International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Folding bicycle firm Dahon is showcasing its personal electronic cycling accessories, including the Biologic Bike Mount for iPhone and the Biologic ReeCharge. Dahon has also brought the Ios XL folding commuter bicycle to the Vegas show, running from January 6th to 7th.

Explaining Dahon’s presence at the electronics show, vice-president Joshua Hon said: “As bikes play an increasing role in transportation, there is a greater need for them to integrate with our everyday lifestyle.”

“And that includes our need to power mobile gadgets. The ReeCharge, which comes standard on our Ios XL and Speed TR models, allows people to tap into the free, green energy they generate with a dynamo hub to power their personal electronic devices. We expect this type of functionality to become more important as more people take to cycling as part of their everyday routine.”

Dahon is appearing at the booth of MiniWiz at the show, Dahon’s consumer electronic accessory design partner.
