Partnership results in limited fixie model to be debuted at Eurobike

Charge collaborates with fashion designer Jeff Griffin

Charge has collaborated with fashion designed Jeff Griffin to produce a limited edition Plug, dubbed the Griffin.

Just 500 of the bikes, due to be launched at Eurobike, will be made and distributed worldwide.

Having previously worked alongside brands such as Berghaus, Baracuta and rainwear specialist Mackintosh, Griffin produced the model alongside Charge graphic designer James Hoppe.

Each Plug Griffin is numbered and comes with a number plate attached to the top tube of the bicycle. Desert camo saddle is a trademark of Griffin design and the bike features Charge’s new Straw handlebar with machined and bonded Bullet end caps. Pedals are provided by BMX company Eclat as they are for all the 2010 Charge Plug models. The Griffin’s frame is the same Tange cro-mo as all Charge Plug’s with unique paintwork for the Griffin model.

Designer Hoppe says "I am delighted with how well the bikes turned out. Nick and I discussed the look with Jeff and we were all on the same page immediately. The response from the distributors has been huge with the whole 500 bikes selling out just from sight of the first sample at the Taipei Show in March."

The Charge Plug Griffin will be at Eurobike on stand number FG- A8/2.
