Presenters to toast the industry's top journalists and media next Thursday

Charlton & McCrossan to host the Cycling Media Awards

Rebecca Charlton and Anthony McCrossan will host the Cycling Media Awards next Thursday (November 12th).

Charlton is a TV presenter, author and journalist, having worked most recently at Cycling Active magazine. She’s also presented for Channel 4, BT Sport, ITV4, Eurosport and Sky Sports, and is an ambassador for Women’s Cycling. 

McCrossan is a cycling speaker and commentator, having worked on Giro d’Italia, London 2012 Olympic Games, Dubai Tour, Milano San Remo, Abu Dhabi Tour, II Lombardia, The World Championships on road and track to name but a few. In 2007 he founded Cyclevox which produces television programmes and live coverage for many clients including British Cycling and Revolution Series and launched the world’s first women’s cycling video channel, Voxswomen, in 2015.

The Cycling Media Awards bring together the nation’s top cycling journalists, photographers, bloggers and vloggers to celebrate a year’s achievements in the cycling media world. The event takes place next Thursday evening (November 12th) at the Islington Metalworks. 

Cycleguard will be making sure hosts are suitably refreshed as sponsors of the drinks reception, with Cycle Alert sponsoring the prestigious Cycling Advocate category. British Cycling is sponsoring the Cycling Media Legend award.
