A production team from Granada is seeking advertising creatives to take part in a reality TV show set in the 1970s. The creative types will pitch ideas to Raleigh execs in time for a proposed Christmas TV advertising splurge. The reality TV show will air on Sky One. But can the creatives live without their cellphones?

12 ad creatives will be immersed for two weeks in a 1970s office, with no computers, cellphones or bicycle couriers.

They have to come up with creative treatments for the Chopper’s Christmas TV ad campaign.

The 1970s Office team would also compete against a creative team using modern technology. The series will be filmed in July.

Raleigh has recently added mass-market catalogue retailer Argos to the roster of Chopper retailers. At the product’s launch, Raleigh MD Mark Gouldthorp said Choppers would only be available from Halfords and IBDs which committed to a twinned buy-in programme of Choppers and Raleigh parts & accessories.
