Roger Cook, recently made redundant from Halfords HQ where he was part of the two-wheel team (it was he who thought of the Bikehut name), has formed Bikepath Cycling Services Ltd. He will be helping to launch an IBD strategy for Airborne.

Cook forms new marketing company; first client is Airborne

"I am offering a range of services to the bike trade including sales, brand management, agency and other specialist services. In addition I am planning to promote the business and health benefits of cycling to work for large organisations outside the trade," said Cook.

His first client is Airborne, the mail-order and Halfords brand, with a Euro base in the Netherlands.

"This brand is really going places with well made and designed kit at good prices with aftercare policies other brands would die for," said Cook.

An official announcement about Airborne’s IBD plans will be made in a few weeks, said Cook.
