Cycling Sports Group has opened a new dedicated distribution centre for its complete bike business in the UK.
The new distribution centre for all Cannondale, GT Bicycles, Mongoose, Wethepeople and Charge Bicycles is now located in Thetford, Norfolk, and exclusively managed by Century Logistics.
All CSG UK management, P&A logistics, sales staff, customer service, warranty, service centres and accounts remain at the company’s headquarters in Poole, Dorset, with complete bicycles now stored and dispatched from its new centrally located centre in Thetford.
The new centre was fully integrated with CSG UK’s back-end CRM and SAP systems, making distribution more efficient; this will result in faster dispatch to dealers.
“Going forwards, the new distribution centre arrangement will result in marked improvement in supply and distribution to CSG UK’s customers and our independent bike dealers,” said CSG UK managing director Russell Merry.
