A full page in today's Metro giveaway newspaper (an ad would cost £18k) waxes lyrical about Powabykes, and other Cycle 2002 exhibitords. The piece was suggested by Cycle 2002's PRO, Michael Heal. There was a similar page on the Airnimal in last Friday's Metro, available nationwide.

Cycle 2002 gains £18 000 worth of exposure for exhibitors

And there was also good mainstream exposure for cycling last week in the Evening Standard’s 16-page Cycle 2002 supplement.

Bizarrely, this feaures on the cover a dated Steve Behr shot of Brant Richards – or is it Zak Tempest? – chasing some pigeons in Been Bag shorts.

Much of the editorial inside the supplement was supplied by Steve Worland, so is technically spot-on.

The Evening Standard has a circulation of 500 000 per day.

PS

Cycle 2002 now has 2300 ‘trade registrations’.

Bet you didn’t know Been Bag used to make shorts for pigeons…
