BBC1's flagship kid's TV programme will air a long feature on cycling on the eve of the show opening to the public. In a good PR move, the Business Design Centre is offering Blue Peter badge holders free entry to the show.

Cycle 2003 to be plugged on ‘Blue Peter’

The programme will feature jumps and tricks from the Onza Supercycles trials team, including an attempt on the British side-hop record on the show.

Also lined up for a sales-boosting plug is the KMX recumbent trike, a natural for Blue Peter.

"It’s great to see programmes like Blue Peter taking such an interest in the exhibition and in cycling in general. To show our appreciation we are allowing all Blue Peter badge holders free entry to Cycle 2003 on the public days," said exhibition director Mick Bennett.

Blue Peter, BBC1, 5 pm, Wednesday, September 24th.
