A six-minute movie has been produced for Cycling England showcasing the six Cycle Demonstration Towns: Aylesbury, Brighton, Darlington, Derby, Exeter and Lancaster. These towns have been provided with a £17m Government budget to increase the levels of cycling.

Cycle demonstration towns: The movie

The movie features interviews with Cycling England’s Phillip Darnton, CTC’s Kevin Mayne, John Grimshaw of Sustrans and transport journalist Christian Wolmar.

There are also vox-pops with people who give reasons why they don’t currently cycle but the movie finishes with affirmations from those who’ve ‘seen the light.’
