Retailer Cycle Surgery and consumer site Bike Envy have teamed up for another ‘Women-Only’ evening this week.
Following similar events in Cycle Surgery stores in Victoria and Kings Cross, the duo are bringing the female-only evening to Cycle Surgery’s Holborn shop on Wednesday August 25th, 6pm to 8pm.
Aside from a discount on purchases made on the night, attendees can expect champagne and cupcakes. Cycle experts will be on hand to answer cycle queries and free bike maintenance and bike puncture workshops will also feature.
The evenings were initially set up to address concerns that bike shops can be initimidating for females, as Cycle Surgery marketing manager Claire Collins explained: "At Cycle Surgery we recognise that the female market is the fastest growing sector in cycling, so a series of ‘Women-Only’ evenings seemed the perfect way for us to engage with this expanding audience. Bike Envy is the perfect partner to help us build a calendar of ‘Women-Only’ events."
