Cycle tourist Tom Allen is taking his film Janapar on the road, appearing at screenings across the UK, answering post-film questions, and signing books. He's in Dublin today, Kendal on Thursday, Newcastle on Saturday, Ayr on 25th February, Edinburgh on the 26th, and Sheffield on 28th February.

Janapar: Love on a Bike, traces Allen’s four-year journey over more than 10,000 miles as he cycles and camps his way across three continents. His quest for freedom takes an unlikely detour when he falls in love with Tenny, an Iranian-Armenian girl. Struggling to keep his dream alive, Allen convinces her to get on a bike and join him. But he soon finds himself caught between love and the open road.

Filmed by Allen himself, and named after the Armenian word for ‘journey’, Janapar was produced by BBC producer-director James Newton.

The film premiered last September at the Raindance Festival in London, and Allen is looking for co-hosts to run more UK and international dates later in the year.
