In today's reshuffle, Tony Blair has sacked cyclist Charles Clarke as Home Secretary and moved Alistair Darling from the Department for Transport to the Department for Trade and Industry.

Darling moves from DfT to DTI in TB’s reshuffle

Darling was no lover of cyclists.

His replacement is Douglas Alexander MP, formerly the Minister for Europe.

There has yet to be announcement on any shake-up in the junior ministerial posts in the DfT.
