Dorel to host major Mongoose Show

Dorel Sports will host international distributors from approximately 15 European countries for a Mongoose Show from June 26th through to the 29th, at the Dorel Sports offices in Basel, Switzerland.

More than 30 new Mongoose bikes will be on display ranging from BMX bikes including the Legion, to a broad mountain bike range from the Switchback to the Teocali. Mongoose will also introduce the Guide as part of the growing category of bikes designed for cross-country adventures and pack riding. Throughout the show, key distributors will get direct access to see the bikes first hand.

“Mongoose is a global brand sold in 37 countries around the world. At Dorel Sports, our International Distributors are an important part of this success,” said Dorel Sports senior vice president Jeff Weiss. “Hosting our key distributors from Europe gives us the opportunity to walk them through the product so that they can touch and feel it and make sure they are bringing a fully educated view and the best options back to their riders.”

Over a three day period, attendees will discover the new 2018 products which will include mountain bikes like the Salvo, Teocali, Tyax and Switchback, and fat bikes including the Argus, and the BMX Freestyle line of Legions. They will also have the opportunity to interact with the global team including senior director of marketing Milissa Rick, who will present current and upcoming Mongoose marketing strategies and initiatives.

“Our marketing strategy is a powerful combination of multiple efforts that include a comprehensive PR and digital initiative along with our athletes that help bring the brand and product to life,” said Rick. “We have an array of products in different regions, which support the accessibility of the brand, from freestyle and free expression on BMX and mountain to the inclusion of athletes at all levels. We’re excited to share all we have planned for Model Year 2018.”
