Andy Easterbrook, formerly of Arc Marketing and latterly of Dillglove, has set out on his own again, forming Wildoo Ltd. This will represent Dillglove brands, as well as EBER, Pro-Feet, Token Products and On Air.

Easterbrook forms new distribution company

Easterbrook promises that all brands in the Wildoo portfolio will be supported with brand positioning, marketing and technical support whilst providing "healthy wholesale and retail margins."

The customer base extends to most UK based wholesalers, OEMs, and larger retail outlets, said Easterbrook.

"Despite the current difficult trading conditions and depressed profit margins, I’m optimistic that the bicycle industry will see improving fortunes in the future. Organisations such as Wildoo will help deliver the products, marketing and margins that are necessary to achieve this."

To set up his new business, Easterbrook was assisted by Steve Fenton of the European Cycle Development Agency.

Wildoo will represent Dillglove products such as SMP, Shimano Italia, Spark Engineering, Hella, Atran, Barbieri, Widek, Bibia, Cegasa, Saccon, De Woerd and Rubena, and will be exclusive agent for rim tape and track pump manufacturer EBER s.r.l.; Italian-made cork handlebar ribbon from On Air; Pro-Feet cycling apparel; and Token Products Inc.

Token of Taiwan was founded in 2002 by long-time industry insider James Chang who has over twenty years experience of bicycle component manufacturing. The Token range includes headsets (integrated, internal, threadless and threaded for road, MTB, and BMX) and bottom bracket cassette units (square taper and ISIS Drive). The range is available in either aftermarket packaging or bulk OEM supplies Token also offers a private label design and manufacturing service.
