Company now offers framebuilding training, bike fitting, frame repairs, painting and much more

Enigma rebrands as Enigma Bicycle Works

Jim Walker’s Enigma has now rebranded as Enigma Bicycle Works, better reflecting the diverse nature of the UK manufacturer’s expanding business.

Enigma has invested in all aspects of its business and now offers a complete bicycle service, encompassing custom frame building, painting, re-finishing, frame repairs, bikefitting, servicing and also a frame building academy for those seeking to learn the trade.

The Enigma Paintworks facility, launched late in 2013, has seen prices lowered by almost 30 per cent for 2015. This paint shop is one of only a handful of dedicated bicycle paintshops able to custom paint onto carbon fibre frames.

Enigma sells bikes and frames all over the world and the international side of the business is growing. With an Australian distributor already successfully selling the brand, the company is now targeting dealers in the Benelux countries and France for 2015 as part of its strategy for growth. The first continental dealers have now been appointed.

The rebranding has been overseen by Ben Aquilina of Brilliant Noise, a digital strategy and innovation agency based in Brighton.
