Evans Cycles has issued five sets of invitations to what it calls ‘ladies night’ within selected stores nationwide.
Responding to increased interest from customers, the chain promises a cycling ‘goodie bag’ and an in store challenge where the winner walks away with £200s worth of vouchers.
“These events are an excuse for ladies to come together in a friendly environment, have a glass of bubbly, get down to earth advice on the latest product, take part in competitions and take advantage of our Ladies Night discounts and deals.” says Claire Beaumont, Evans Cycles fitness expert.
“Cycling is booming, because it’s a recession beater.” said Beaumont. “Our female customers cover a wide spectrum of riders from those who want to hit climbs on their road bike, spend a weekend flinging themselves through mud or just want to gently meander through the countryside with friends or family. We’ve got advice and tips to cater for them all – everything from clipless pedals and cycling shoes to changing a puncture without getting filthy hands and getting the right tyres to boot, all with a credit crunching discount.”
