Over-sized cyclewear label will be in stock online from tomorrow

Fat Lad at the Back goes online with Evans

Evans Cycles will, as of tomorrow, have large-sized cyclewear label Fat Lad at the back for sale online.

With the average UK man’s waist size measuring 38-inches, the Yorkshire-based sportswear supplier was established in 2013 with the aim of creating stylish high quality garments using the best technical fabrics to fit and flatter the average waistline.

Supplying tops, jackets, shorts and a growing range of accessories in sizes ranging from 28” to 60” waist and 36” to 58” chest, Fat Lad At The Back provides well fitting cyclewear for all shapes and sizes. The perfect fit is achieved as garments are based on actual waist and chest measurements, rather than the traditional ‘XL/XXL’ sizing. Customers are asked to provide their waist and chest measurements when ordering.

The range is manufactured in Italy, using high performance Italian technical fabrics which are fully breathable, sweat-wicking and quick-drying for optimum cycling comfort. The Spare Tyre range, accompanying the core range, caters for the larger cyclist and fits chests from 54” – 58” and waist measurement up to 60”.

Will Lowes, clothing buyer for Evans Cycles said: “We’ve received feedback from male customers who want to see more cycling clothing for larger riders. We’re confident that introducing Fat Lad At The Back to our range will help address this problem, providing our customers with well-fitting and stylish kit.”

Short Sleeve Jerseys start from £49.99. The Fat Lad At The Back range will be available online from www.Evanscycles.com/fatladattheback
