Total Mountain Bike may be gone but its not forgotten: Future are to launch a quarterly listings title. And MBUK is to go a bit more woodsy

Future revamps titles

Code-named What Mountain Bike the 300-page quarterly (which is currently seeking an editor and art editor although the dep ed and art editor of Total may get first shout) will be launched in April.

Its rumoured that both Paul Smith and Steve Worland will be working on the title.

And there are changes for MBUK. Sections of it will become more woodsy, more like MTB Pro of old. There will also be laminated route cards and less emphasis on jumping. This is, in part, a reaction to the re-launch of On Your Bike by EMAP Active.

The new all-singing, all-dancing MBUK website has yet to be launched (it should have been live in November) but it will feature banner ads linking direct to suppliers websites. A commerce manager is being advertised for internally at Future.
