Naturally, not every stand is finished yet. Some people will be working through until midnight tonight. Others will turn up tomorrow morning and complete their stand by the ten o'clock deadline.

Of those that were finished, or at least with stands semi-ready today, here are some edited highlights.

The left hand pic above shows that the Sturmey-Archer SunRace stand is being shared by Brooks saddles. It's the first UK trade show in ages for both companies.

The right hand pic above is of the new Kawasaki kids MTB. It'll retail for about £200 and every owner will no doubt supply revving sounds. The Kawasaki brand is being relaunched by Eddie Eccleston's Ideal. (And for £600 check out the Ideal Neon street bike, a skinny tyred speed machine with aero Kinesis forks).

The pix below show the Giant stand nearly ready for dressing with bikes (and cartoon cardboard cut-outs). The stand is big and impressive. It even has plasma screens for counting down to the launch of Giant's IBD-friendly G-Day package.

Also below is a pic of just one small part of the large Moore Large presence. Next to Coppi road bikes you'll find Bumper kid's bikes, aimed smack bang at the Christmas market (supposedly one of the raison d'etres of this show).

And also with a much bigger stand this year is Hot Wheels. The company bagged WTB just a few days ago and product is here. But taking pride of place is a display of GT bikes: the brand is officially relaunched at the show.

There's plenty more to get your teeth into and it'll be well worth the schlepp but for those who can't make it, this site will carry a daily report from the show.

(And one thing is certain, so long as the rain holds off, the BikeBiz Industry Ride should be busy, a lot of people have brought their bikes especially for the 5 mile tootle to a country pub and back).
