Ison Distribution and Miss Grape announce partnership

Miss Grape was founded in 2014 when Michele Boschetti, who was previously making bags in his home for his own use on bikepacking adventures across Italy, officially began the company.

The brand believes that producing products from the most appropriate materials is an essential part of the business, and as such do not use VX21 as a main fabric. The brand instead uses a derivative of a ballistic polymide fabric with greater tear resistance that is ultimately more durable. Boschetti commented that Miss Grape products are manufactured by hand in Italy, which the brand claims ensures a high level of quality and consistency.

Patrick Joscelyne, brand manager for Miss Grape, says: "Although bikepacking is not a new idea, developments in materials and new construction ideas have led to riders looking to travel further and faster with less weight and kit than traditional touring. If you have less storage space you have to carry less kit.

"The idea is to be able to take your favourite bike and go anywhere extending a day trip by 1, 2 or multiple extra days/weeks without the need for traditional panniers. It’s a very cathartic experience leaving stuff out that you would normally pack and although it takes time to get your kit list dialled, once you have the basics, you can head off anywhere and enjoy the feeling of liberation from the daily grind."

Miss Grape joins Ison’s increasingly broad range of products and will be available from selected stockists. Dealers interested in stocking the brand please contact sales@ison-distribution.com
