No vehicles destroyed on demo day, reports 2x2

Land Rover launches 2010 bikes

Cycle dealers and press were invited to Solihull, West Midlands yesterday for the launch of the 2010 Land Rover bike range from 2×2.

As well as getting the chance to get their hands on the new line-up – which featured commuter cycles, folding bikes, junior cycles and MTBs – attendees got the chance to ride Land Rovers off-road at the Solihull LR course.

Sales director Scott Hillyard told BikeBiz: "I would like to say a big thank you to all of our dealers who made the effort to come to the launch.

"Response to the product was tremendous – particularly the Experience Comp MTB with lock-out forks at £249.99 RRP, and astonishingly nobody managed to destroy any of the vehicles!"

Following the positive feedback, Hillyard confirmed that the firm was likely to use the Experience centres for future launches and dealer outings with the 10 regional centres being rolled out.
