In this month’s dealer profile BikeBiz quizzes Leisure Lakes Bikes on the secrets of its success, the importance of using common sense to snap up custom and the effect the electric bike market is having on the firm.
Seven stores now make up the Leisure Lakes network, with the first shop – in Preston – established 25 years ago by four brothers.
Nottingham store manager Andy Ramsdale told BikeBiz: “At the moment keeping abreast of the current economy is a challenge, as is being aware of why product prices are going up in our industry. And then the task is trying to hunt product that still offers great performance at a good price.”
