Anti-capitalist, anarchist and keen-on-making-trouble groups of many political hues – as well as agent provocateurs – are planning a series of disruptive events in London tomorrow.
At least 1000 hard-core activists are expected to cause Mayday mayhem.
All police leave has been cancelled and more than 5,000 officers will be out
in London to combat protesters who will likely target Oxford Street,
London’s main shopping rea.
The day will start at 7:30 a.m. with mass bicycle rides from Marylebone and
Liverpool Street stations, designed to disrupt traffic in London’s West End and City
districts.
Evening Critical Masses tend to attract family and leisure riders as well as hardcore cycle campaigners but an early morning one may not be quite so media friendly.
