Meame seeks £180,000 via crowd funded investment

Cycle clothing brand Meame is seeking £180,000 via a crowdfunding drive on investment site CrowdCube.

London-based Meame was launched in 2015 by husband and wife team Megan Aylott and Steven Azancot.

The funding will be used to expand the brand’s range and "continue developing new and innovative technologies," said Aylott.

“We’re at an exciting stage of the business," she added. "With backing we can grow into something beautiful, developing innovations that complement our everyday life."

Aylott is a graduate from fashion school Central Saint Martins and Azancot is a designer.

In 2015, cycle clothing brand Vulpine raised £1,026,000 in a similar crowdfunded investment drive.
