Mobi Washer has announced it will handle all UK sales directly, following investment and development of its e-commerce structure.
The news spells the end for all current distributor agreements, including the one signed with Raleigh late last year.
Raleigh told BikeBiz: "From a distributor point of view we are disappointed, but appreciate their decision to deal in a different way.
"Raleigh achieved some fantastic sales with this product in a short space of time and opened up new outlets for the product."
Mobi Washer said it has seen considerable growth over the last financial year. That success has given Mobi the opportunity to invest in enhancing its e-commerce site, which will operate with a sophisticated pick and pack operation for fast UK delivery.
"We are very excited about handling all UK sales of Mobi products through the new e-commerce website and look forward to the continued success it will bring to the company," enthused Mobi Washer director Mitch Dall.
"We are confident that our improved e-commerce website will give our consumers greater product information, a diverse range of product reviews and a totally secure environment to purchase Mobi products with free next working day delivery.”
The firm, which also revealed that it has several new products in the pipeline, added: "Mobi would like to take this opportunity to thank its network of distributors for their support and efforts over the last year of trading.
"Mobi Washer will of course honour their standard 12-month warranty (claims along with proof of purchase should be emailed to sales@mobiwasher.co.uk). All on-going parts supply can be viewed and ordered at www.mobiwasher.co.uk."
