Lance Armstrong’s cycle coach releases ‘The Time-Crunched Cyclist’

NEW PRODUCT: Chris Carmichael launches training guide

A new book covering an innovative approach to training has been released this month.

‘The Time-Crunched Cyclist: Fit, Fast and Powerful in 6 Hours a Week’ is written by Lance Armstrong’s personal cycling coach Chris Carmichael and is aimed at busy cyclists without time to spare on traditional training methods.

According to the publisher, Carmichael’s book show budding competitors how to achieve complete fitness and power without the usual time demands. The author noticed that busy cyclists were unable to make performance gains and formed a realistic schedule by emphasising the power of high-intensity interval workouts. In six-hour-per-week training sessions, cyclists can develop the snap, endurance and strength needed to race faster.

The Time-Crunched Cyclist: Fit, Fast and Powerful retails at £14.00. Trade enquiries should be directed to Dave Trendler at VeloPress at dtrendler@competitorgroup.com.
