Marshall joins, says a Crabtree press release, in order to strengthen the support it provides to its 12-strong sales team, and at the same time enhance its services to IBDs.
Marshall was national sales manager at Newmans in Redditch, where he worked from 1990-95. Aged 37, Douglas has
an HNC in Business Studies from Abertay University in Dundee.
In the release Crabtree MD Julian Pointon says: "The appointment of Douglas Marshall as sales manager is an exciting new event for the company as we continue to expand our turnover and market share. He will play an major role
in enhancing our service to the specialist bicycle retailer and ensuring that independent dealers continue to perceive Crabtree as a primary source of the best in cycling, nationwide."
