Ive now closed my high-street shops and all operations are from one factory. Our turnover is around £1 million and I employ eight people.
Twenty years in the cycle business is long enough for me, I need a change. Im planning to study philosophy and psychology, and move to Scotland.
The sale of the business would include both Gearshift mail-order and Orbit Cycles, and would require around £200,000 of capital for the stock.
Our growth over the last two years has been in retail mail-order, and we now have a database of over 10 000 active acounts, said Gershon.
On the cycle side, we are probably the biggest supplier of tandems and touring bikes in the UK.
