His additional responsibilities will now include warehouse operations and logistics as well as his current inventory planning role.
A company statement said the promotion will free Dominic Langan, the MD of Madison, to spend more time growing the business.
“Following the significant investment in our bespoke warehouse management system last year which revolutionised our service performance, the next stage is investment in stock and space planning technology to further improve our operational efficiency and Patrick has unrivalled expertise and understanding in this area," said Langan.
